Sierra Vista students earn top honor

Close to two dozen Sierra Vista Middle School students earned a 4.0 GPA for the first quarter of the 2007-08 year, a majority of whom were sixth graders.

All told, 21 students earned a 4.0.

Named to the sixth grade honor roll with 4.0 GPAs are Falon Ah Quin, Graydon Castellanos, Amanda Cervantes, Katie Hutchins, Perla Ibarra, Kenyon Jeske, Vianca Madrigal, Madison Marquez, Cameron Schlenker and Martin Tello.

Seventh grade students earning a 4.0 GPA during the first quarter include Guadalupe Acosta, Daniel Estrada, Jade Jaime, Taylor Jongsma and Janeth Vasquez.

Azalia Bautista, Abbagail Gomez, Daniel Martinez, Maria Quintero, Eugenio Rivera and Emily Wolfe are the eigth graders who earned a 4.0.
