'Hounds beat Quincy

QUINCY - All-everything back Marty Guillen got the Grandview High School football team on the board early this past Friday, as the Greyhounds earned a 31-8 road win over the Jackrabbits.

Guillen's score came in the first quarter on a touchdown pass from quarterback Matt Concienne.

Grandview went on to lead 13-0 at the half. The Greyhounds then put the game away with 18 points in the second half, including a 32-yard-field goal by Josue Oros.

Quincy scored a touchdown to get on the scoreboard with about four minutes left in the game.

Grandview Coach Dustin Lamb said the Greyhounds featured a balanced attack, with 160 yards passing and another 200 yards rushing.

Due to a medical emergency, no further information was available as of press time.

Grandview (3-3, 3-4) hosts rival and state title contender Prosser this Friday.
