Frank J. Lingor, 84, of Grandview died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Hillcrest Manor, in Sunnyside.
He was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Roscoe, S.D., to John and Rosina Lingor.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years.
On Oct. 15, 1946, he married Philipine Binfet in South Dakota. Following their marriage, they made their home in Grandview.
Frank was employed by J.A. Jones Construction at the Hanford Project for 33 years.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Philipine Lingor of Grandview; one daughter, Betty Lemoine and husband, Bob, of Spokane; one son, Terry Lingor of Grandview; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Vince; and three sisters, Mary, Rose and Eva.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James Lingor; four brothers, John, Steve, Lawrence and Val; and two sisters, Barbara and Lena.
Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 6 p.m. and Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at 10 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, with burial to follow at the Grandview Cemetery.
