Earl Homer Crawford, 92, of Prosser died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, at his home.

He was born May 3, 1915 in Benton County to Fred and Nola Pearl (Kennedy) Crawford. He received his education in Prosser. On Nov. 3, 1934, he married Eva Bernice Fridley in Yakima. For 17 years Earl farmed in Ellensburg and then moved back to Prosser to help break ground on the Roza.

He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Eva B. Crawford of Prosser; three sons, Robert E. Crawford of Prosser and twins, Wayne Crawford and wife, Leigh Ann, of Grandview and Duane Crawford of Prosser; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and two brothers.

Viewing and visitation will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, from 3 to 8 p.m., at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview, with burial to follow at the East Prosser Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home in Grandview is in charge of arrangements.
