Time is running out to bid on 110 silent auction items at Hillcrest Manor in Sunnyside.
Bidders have only until Friday at noon to place bids on original oil paintings, quilts, furniture, household items, home decor and much, much more.
According to Hillcrest Manor Administrator Mary Arthur, proceeds from the annual silent auction benefit the elders who reside there.
In the past, silent auction funds have been used to erect a gazebo and also to create Memory Lane Park at the facility.
To bid, one can simply stop by Hillcrest Manor, located at 721 Otis Ave. Arthur said that pictures of the items and their measurements are on display with the bid sheets.
This Friday, Hillcrest Manor will host a barbecue at noon. Arthur said the barbecue is for community members, staff and the elders. "It's just a real family affair," she said. The winning bidders will be announced at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday.
