First things first, today is my second anniversary of working at the Daily Sun News. Just think, I've been boring you with my columns for two years. Sorry folks.
Now back to the skinny. No, Piper isn't getting a little brother. My family grew the other week by two, a male and a female. They are puppies and a person rescued them from a field. Some loser had dropped them off to fend for themselves. May that person suffer a horrible death.
The male is named Chok Dee and the female is named Boon Mee. Both names are Thai and roughly translate to good luck and lots of luck, respectively.
They are mutts, the male is from a big breed and the female is from a small breed. I hate small dogs but I didn't want little Boon Mee to suffer. Both dogs bother me at most times, but again, I didn't want either one to suffer.
So Tanya cleans the poop and pee from the floor, I buy the food and feed them and we're basically sentenced to the next 10 years of having these dogs.
The lady who gave us the dogs also gave them their first shots and gave us some needles and medicine for their next two sets of shots. The first time they will go to the vet is when they are neutered and spade. I don't want them to have unwanted puppies at such a young age, something that's popular among Lower Valley pets and teenagers.
So to the person or persons who dropped my two puppies off in the country to die, or to anyone thinking about doing this soon, stop it. You are sick and pathetic. Either take the dogs to a shelter or take care of them. Don't drop off your mistakes and expect other people to take care of them.
And if you don't speak English.
