Brenda Rae Fulton, 62, of Sunnyside passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2007, at home in the presence of her family.

Brenda was born Feb. 4, 1945, in Stanford, Ky. to Owen and Vera Thompson. She resided in Sunnyside for the past 35 years.

She was an avid softball player and baseball fan.

The most enjoyable time for her was spending time with her family, friends and especially her six grandchildren.

She is survived by her long-time companion, Carolyn Howe; two sons, Paul (Miechelle) Fulton of Prosser and Troy (Jenny) Fulton of Richland: six grandchildren, Chris, CJ, Amiya, Malea, Drew and Kelsey Fulton; two brothers, David Thompson of Vancouver and Darrel Thompson of Monroe; two sisters, Glenda Way of Eminence, Ky. and Linda Kelley of Granger; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special caregiver, Maria.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.

At her request, a memorial service will be held Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be mailed in Brenda's name to either the Association of ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) Development Department, 27001 Agoura Road, Ste. 150, Calabasas Hills, CA 91301 or to Lower Valley Hospice, 3920 Outlook Road, Sunnyside, 98944.
