Una Lee Kruse, 91, of Sunnyside died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, at Sun Terrace.

She was born March 18, 1916, in Hanley, Saskatchewan, Canada to Oscar and Alethe Lee.

On June 8, 1946, Una married Fredrick Kenneth Kruse in Silverton, Ore.

She is survived by her son, Jorgen Kruse (Ayako Mori) of Fukuoka City, Kyushu, Japan; two daughters, Sonja McDaniel (Dennis), of Sunnyside and Karen Kruse (Bernie Boger), of Dayton, Ore.; a grandson, Dorian Manza of Edmonds; four granddaughters, Signy Scroggins and Ursula Boger, both of Portland, Ore., Noelle Kowalick (David), of Bothell, Shauna Wisler (Mike), of Kirkland; and six great-grandchildren, Katarina, Dane, Beau, and Geneva Kowalick and Autumn and Emberlee Wisler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fredrick; two sisters, Marion Mueller and Florence Godfrey; one brother, Vance Lee; and one grandson, Errol Manza of Sunnyside.

A memorial service in her honor will be held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1108 Taylor Street in Sunnyside.

Memorials in remembrance of her may be sent to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or to Lower Valley Hospice.
