What is this world coming to? Shame on the people who found the deaf puppy "Denver" and called the owner to say they had the dog, but refused to give the dog up...all because of greed.
The second party refusing to say who they purchased the dog from, shame on all of you.
Not surprisingly, you are probably the same people who contribute to the pet over-population and dumping of unwanted, innocent animals. I know, because I, too, rescued a puppy, ran a "found" ad in the paper, only to have someone call and say that I could keep the dog, because they bought it for $20 and didn't want it anymore.
Let's hope the law catches up with people like you, and the puppy is returned to his rightful, loving owner.

(Editor's note: the deaf puppy "Denver" was returned to its owner this past Wednesday night, who paid out a $100 reward)
Support for youths
The opportunity for a young person in our community to accomplish something that has been a dream of his would be a great example for other teenagers to know they they can always have their dreams come true.
I am one of the aunts who supports Joe Rodriguez in his dream to perform on the television show, American Idol. I believe in him in anything he does. He has always been a go-getter.
Teenagers need more family support and community support to help them stay out of trouble and live their dreams. Not everyone in life has these opportunities but they could with our support.
Thank you to the Daily Sun News for the article on Joe.

I just don't understand how a "supposedly" intelligent person like Sen. Patty Murray can think that the millions of cars and trucks on our nation's highways can operate on "alternative" fuel that hasn't even been discovered yet. They need GAS!
Where do the senator propose to stack all the cars that will have to be parked, because they can't be driven? You wise Democrats think we ordinary people can just go out and buy a new model.
Wake up, Patty! Use your power of reasoning and listen to the people you are supposed to be serving. We make more sense than most of the people sent to Washington D.C. Sen. Murray has no empathy for us because all of her transportation is paid for by us.
I'm absolutely fed up!
