Migrant council gets thumbs up from federal review

The Washington State Migrant Council received a 100 percent rating for compliance in all of its program services following a recent federal review of the agency.

Two teams of federal reviewers completed the research of the agencies programs and visited 95 percent of the Migrant Council's centers.

The Washington State Migrant Council, with offices in Sunnyside, has served low-income and agricultural worker families in this state since 1983 and provides services to nearly 4,000 children across the state of Washington
