Jesus Pulido Valencia, 76, of Outlook passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Yakima Regional Hospital.

He was born Oct. 23, 1931 in Michoacan, Mexico to Luis and Maria (Valencia) Pulido.

In 1954, Jesus married Elpidia Calderon in Mexico. They together came to the U.S. in 1955, where he worked as a farm laborer.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing dominos with Jose Cuevas.

Jesus was a loving father, husband and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elpidia Pulido of Outlook; nine children, Luis Pulido (Debbie), Nat Pulido (Angie), Molly Pulido (Rafael), Jesse Pulido (Lupe), Joel Pulido (Maria G.), Lilia Plata (Bill), Mary Lopez (Mario), Naomi Fernandez (Alfredo) and Abel Pulido (Nora); 25 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Flora Farias, Juana Pulido, both of California and Anita Ceja of Mexico.

Viewing and visitation will be held today, Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, from 4 to 8 p.m. with an evening service to be held at 6 p.m. at the Apostolic Assembly, 1510 E. Lincoln Avenue in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Apostolic Assembly, 1510 E. Lincoln Avenue in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
