Silvia Galindo, 54, of Grandview passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, in Kennewick.

Silvia was born April 26, 1953 in Mezquital Durango, Mexico, the daughter of Antonio Salazar Ciriano and Maria Perez de Ciriano.

On Jan. 16, 1987, she married Candelario Galindo in Grandview.

Silvia loved having family gatherings at her home. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, and collecting angels. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren.

Silvia was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview. She is survived by her husband, Candelario Galindo of Grandview; her children, Martin and Angelica Galindo, Cindy Galindo and Gonzalo Galindo, all of Grandview; Juan and Rosa Maria Galindo of Prosser, Tony and Diane Galindo of Yakima, Cesar Galindo of Enumclaw, Hector and Yeanet Galindo of Sunnyside; 12 grandchildren, Eduardo, Cecilia, Isaac, Juan Jr., Jacob, Cesar Jesus, Adan, Moses, Samantha, Natalie, Madeline, and Lily; and her siblings, Esperanza Moreno, Pedro Ciriano, Teresa Miranda, Isaac Ciriano, Maria Elena Uribe and Antonio Ciriano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Maria Ciriano; and a baby brother, Jesus Ciriano. Silvia will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. Viewing and visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 and Thursday, January 10, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview, with burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery.
