Blueline making move to Sunnyside

Blueline Manufacturing has inked a deal with the Port of Sunnyside to purchase two parcels of land at the Port's Industrial/Business Park located along East Edison Avenue.

"It's terrific," said Port Manager Amber Hansen. "It will be very beneficial to the community of Sunnyside to have new jobs and new products."

Hansen said the company will manufacture tractors and also have a sales area.

Blueline Manufacturing is purchasing the six acres for $317,750. Included in that figure is Blueline's proportionate share of establishing utilities and roadwork that will be done. The Port expects to spend $1.8 million on road infrastructure to facilitate both Blueline and the medical facility that will be located at the business park.

Blueline operates out of Moxee and the Sunnyside purchase will expand the business, creating new jobs, Hansen said.
