Lynn Marie Walker, 42, of Grandview passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Nov. 23, 1965 in Sunnyside to Ernest Harold and Evelyn Eleanor (Hill) Franklin. Lynn received her early education in Prosser and graduated from Sunnyside High School. She furthered her education at Yakima Valley Community College, receiving her two year degree.

On Dec. 20, 1991, she married Rodney Walker in Sunnyside. Together they made their home in Grandview.

Lynn worked as manager at Safeway for 17 years.

She enjoyed shopping, photography, hunting, fishing and camping. She cherished time spent with her children, helping her son in Boy Scouts and taking her daughter, shopping and just spending time together at the parks.

Lynn was a member of the Grandview Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney Walker;, her son, James Walker and her daughter, Amber Walker, all of Grandview; her parents, Harold and Evelyn Hill Franklin of Sunnyside; her mother-in-law, Patricia Walker of Cookeville, Tenn.; her brother, Larry Franklin (Lorna) of Bickleton; her sister, Rosie Peters (Alvin) of Sunnyside; her sister-in-law, Sheri Simmons (Wes) of Cookeville; brothers-in-law, Rick Walker of Cookeville, Randy Walker (Carrie) of Sunnyside, Donny Walker of LaGrande, Ore., Danny Walker (Virginia) of Walla Walla; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved her and will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Rosie Hill and Orvis and Maxine Franklin; her father-in-law, JB Walker; and grandmother-in-law, Agnes Flores.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 21, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the Grandview Church of the Nazarene, with burial to be held at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
