Hawaiian trip marks 60-year marriage

Tom and Betty Taylor of Sunnyside recently celebrated 60 years of marriage while on a cruise of the Hawaiian islands, hosted by their son-in-law, Ronald Jack.

The couple was married May 7, 1948 in Sunnyside. They have lived in Sunnyside for more than 58 years, where they raised their two children, Susan Taylor-Jack of Bellevue and James Taylor of Richland.

Tom is a retired John Deere salesman. Betty is a homemaker after having retired from the Sunnyside School District.
