Breaking News: Outlook residents escape harm in drive-by shooting



Daniel Ray Golden, 56, of Sunnyside went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father Tuesday, June 10, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 22, 1951 in Sunnyside to Dwayne Ray and Aldora (Schaffer) Golden. He received his education in Sunnyside.

On November 14, 1969, he married Cindy Lou Tucker in Sunnyside.

He worked as an ironworker at the Hanford Project for over 24 years. Due to his failing health he was forced to retire.

He was a member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Joe Golden (Jennifer) of Outlook and David Golden of Sunnyside; one daughter, Holli Brown (Randy) of Sunnyside; grandchildren, Joey Lynn, Jacey, Jenna, Gracie, Devin, Dakota and Ali; his mother, Aldora Golden of Sunnyside; three sisters, Carol James of Sunnyside, Laurel Dosch (Jim) of Bellevue and Brenda McClure of Grandview.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Golden; and wife, Cindy Lou Golden.

Memorial services will be held Friday, June 20, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside.
