H. Mark Mulford, 59, of Sunnyside passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008, at home in Sunnyside.

He served in the Army in 1972 and was stationed in Korea. He was assigned to the DMZ for a year and was discharged in November 1976. He worked for Valley Processing in Sunnyside for 13 years. He lived in Sunnyside for 19 years, coming from Grandview.

He is survived by his wife, Sue of Sunnyside; son, James Mulford of Sunnyside; daughter, Nicole Molina of Sunnyside; mother, Dorothy Bedard of Yakima; father, Harold Edward Mulford (Louise) of Sunnyside; sisters, Lacy McMillon of Yakima and Sheri Coder of Sunnyside; brothers, Dean Clease of Blaine, Paul Mulford of Spokane, Kevin Mulford of Moses Lake and Marty Mulford of South Dakota; mother-in-law, Mavis KcKeen of Grandview; father-in-law, Jerry Peal (Dee) of Vancouver; four grandchildren of Sunnyside; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Moon, in 2001; and a father-in-law in 2006.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
