Robert Stickley, 70, of Prosser, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, at his home.

He was born March 9, 1938 in Gary, Colo. to Dale Alva and Lois Mae (McMurrin) Stickley. He graduated from Sunnyside High School and later married Charlene Golden in Sunnyside. He was a cement mason and owned his own business. He served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his mother, Lois M. Stickley of Prosser; one son, Dennis B. Stickley of Prosser; two daughters, Sherry Kennedy of Oregon and Robbie Wilson Stickley of Idaho; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale A. Stickley; and brother, Kenneth Wayne Stickley.

At his request his remains will be cremated.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
