Virginia Iona Lansing Adams, 90, of Grandview died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Grandview Healthcare Center.

She was born June 6, 1917 in Lemmon, S.D. to De and Gertrude (Reed) Emmons. She received her education in Lemmon, S.D.

She had made her home in the Valley since 1984.

She is survived by three sons, Bruce Lansing (Beth) of Prosser, Lyle Lansing (Mary) of Prosser, and Raymond Lansing (Monik) of Spokane; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great- great-granddaughter; and three sisters, Grace Cleary of Anacortes, Lois Paulson and Ruth Maier, both of Salem, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Lansing and George Adams; and four brothers.

At her request no formal funeral services will be held.
