Free speech

Just when we thought it was safe to drive on South First Street, Tom Paul reared his ugly head again. The signs are back, and the ranting goes on his letter to the editor (3-26-08).

What he's really mad about is that the city decided to not put in the round-about so they wouldn't have to use any of his property. But making this change they won't have to provide any improvements, or pay him any money. Now he's stuck with nothing, and must pay his own attorney fees. Well done, Mark Kunkler! That's the kind of dictator I like.

So, Mr. Paul has to resort to his old tricks. Plastering signs on South First Street, and writing to the Daily Sun News, whining "I won, I won, I won." If he just shut up, he might have. It's like we're not dealing with an adult, rather a 2-year-old throwing a temper tantrum.

In closing, I would like to say that Tom Paul reminds me of a bag of Peanut M&M's...mostly nuts. How about that free speech, Mr. Paul?
