Gloria Jean Reichert, 76, of Sunnyside passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Yakima Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1931 to Ronald Melford and Willa Margaret (Wright) Ralston of Pasco.

She married Mike Reichert in Sunnyside on Dec. 8, 1973.

She worked as a caregiver for others.

She loved to hunt and fish and made several out-of-state hunting trips. She enjoyed watching the Mariners and Seahawks.

She loved her family with the most devotion a wife, mother and sibling could have. She was always willing to do anything at anytime for her family. She was the glue that held her family together and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Reichert of Sunnyside; one daughter, JoAnn Hall (Doug) of Taft, Calif.; one son, Bobby Jamison of Boise, Idaho; one granddaughter, Alex Jamison of Boise; her siblings, Melford and Elsie Ralston, Clifford Ralston (Diane), Randy Ralston, Kenny Ray Ralston, Melody Reynolds and Joydean Caso.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Jen Owen.

Viewing and visitation will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008, from 3 to 6 p.m. and Monday, May, 19, 2008, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
