Robert James Parker, 56, joke teller extraordinaire and music aficionado left us to join his deceased parents, Y. Thomascine and Floyd Golden Parker, and brother, Ardie on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.

He was born July 18, 1951 in Richland.

As a youngster, Bobby Jim enjoyed playing baseball with his teammates and celebrated many victories at the Spudnut Shop.

As a teen, he developed a passion for bowling and fishing. He shared many stories of the great times he had with his friend, Dwayne Hall and other buddies.

He worked for Lampson Inc. for 29 years as a senior accountant until his retirement.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Cece Parker of 15 years; his daughter, Melissa Ciriano (Fred); granddaughter, Atara; grandson, Joaquin; son, Andrew Parker; brother, Jerry Parker; sisters, Barbara Grant and Linda Parker; as well as many friends and family members.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sunnyside. Immediately following the mass, a fellowship and luncheon will be at the St. Joseph's Gym.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Bob's memory may contribute love gifts to Cece.
