Granger's Dino-N-A-Day scheduled June 7

GRANGER - The City of Granger Parks and Recreation Department will host the 11th annual Dino-N-A-Day on Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. until noon, at Hisey "Dinosaur" Park located at 505 Main Street, Granger.

Granger's 26th dinosaur will be a Brachiosaurus, which means "arm lizard."

The Brachiosaurus was one of the largest dinosaurs ever found, measuring anywhere from 70 to 90 feet and weighing 80 to 100 tons. Granger's new addition will be approximately 14 feet tall and 16 feet in length.

Gloves will be provided at the Dinostore concession stand for anyone wishing to participate in applying the cement to the wire frame structure. For more information, please call 509-854-2770.
