Ida Jane Koch, 76, of South San Francisco, Calif. passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2009.

She was born June 1, 1932 in Conrad, Mont. to Christina and Christian Koch.

She graduated from Sunnyside High School in 1950. She attended college at Washington State University.

She was in the Marine Corps.

She worked as a cosmetologist in San Francisco for more than 30 years. Her last place of employment was at Rita Worth's Salon.

She is survived by her beloved sisters, Nancy Bonitto and Irene Crittenden; a brother, Robert Koch; and many loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death her parents; and four brothers, Raymond Koch, Elmore Koch, Chris Koch and Bill Koch.

She will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Ida's Celebration of Life service with full military honors on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Tiffany Chapel of Cypress Lawn Funeral Home, 1370 El Camino Real, Colma, CA., with inurnment to follow at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park in Colma.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her loving memory may be made to Give Me Shelter Cat Rescue Foundation in San Francisco, Calif.

Cypress Lawn Funeral Home in Colma is in charge of arrangements.
