COJUTEPEQUE, EL SALVADOR - The Communist party is now in power in the South American country of El Salvador. Evangelism is prohibited in secondary schools and the children attending schools in the community of Cojutepeque must do so with barbed wire fencing and bars on both the doors and windows.

Wildfire scorches 49,000 acres

Burglary suspects hold Mabton teen at gunpoint

MABTON - Three male subjects reportedly broke into a home in the 100 block of Lenseigne Road near Mabton early this morning (Wednesday). Once the suspects were inside, they allegedly held a 19-year-old male residing at the home at gunpoint as they took items from the residence.
