Leo Hursh, 65, of Selah died on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1944 in Marshall, Ark. to Ed and Abby (Clingings) Hursh.

He graduated from Sunnyside High School.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Harris) Hursh; two sons, Justin Hursh of Boise, Idaho and Zachary Hursh of Selah; one daughter, Heather (Hursh) Payne of Selah; one granddaughter; one grandson; a brother, Ron Hursh of Selah; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Hursh of Yakima, Emily Hursh of Auburn and Melba Sue Hursh of Sunnyside.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Abby (Clingings) Hursh; four brothers, Clifford, Lee, Hubert and Dorsey Hursh; and one sister, Anita (Hursh) Pierce.

Funeral services were held today, Dec. 29, 2009, at Keith and Keith Terrace Heights Chapel in Yakima, followed by burial at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

Keith and Keith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
