Lower Valley students earn YVCC honor roll accolades

Numerous Lower Valley students have earned a spot on the President's List for the fall quarter at Yakima Valley Community College.

In order to receive the President's List designation, a student must have a quarterly GPA of 3.85 or better while earning 12 or more credits.

From Outlook, Charlene Baker and Julie Shonkwiler earned a spot on the list, as did Sunnyside's Brandy Jones, Noreen Lutton, Courtney Pillatos, Oscar Santana and Thomas Warren.

Prosser's Gail Blair, Armando Diaz and Daline Esparza also earned a spot on the President's List.

Making the President's List from Grandview are Isaac Aguirre, Cody Dillon, Martha Esparza, Blanca Granados, Taylor Hoffard, Daniel Martinez, Khristyne Miller, Kathy Vaughn and Jenifer Ward.

Granger's Maria Elizondo and Natalie Norwood made the President's List as well.

Lower Valley students also earned regular honor roll status for the fall quarter.

Sunnyside's Connie Beeman, Lionel Garcia, Gabriela Gurrola, Donna Gutierrez, Rachel Isquierdo, Jose Mendez, Juan Orozco, Kianne Perry, Yesenia Ramirez, Alexa Ramirez, Brisa Sanchez, Maria Torres, Benjamin Tucker, Sandra Velasquez and Jenna Zamarron earned honor roll status.

Appearing on the fall quarter honor roll from Grandview were Bellicia Arteaga, Stephen Caballero, Alan Cabanillas, Felisha Cruz, Antonio Diaz, Felicia Garcia, Noelia Gonzalez, Joshua Gray, Eric Henning, Aleshia Langworthy, Noelle Miller, Lisa Montelongo, Kylee Nimietz, Ramon Perez, Julian Ramirez, Elana Ruiz, Teresa Schultz, Susan Underwood, Francisco Vasquez, Albert Waterman, Melissa Jochen, Miriam McEwen, Jacob Sevigny, Miguel Contreras-Avelar and Francisco Torrico.

Mabton's Brittney Amaro, Miriam Avalos, Janet Burgard, Debbie Enriquez, Christine Medrano and Brenda Ramirez earned a spot on the honor roll, as did Outlook's Petra Jaime.

From Prosser, James Charwood, Lacie French, Gayle Hansen, Esther Hayter, Elizabeth Moralez and Michelle Munck earned honor roll status.
