I am outraged at Wal-Mart because they have a sign on one of their aisles that says "Mexican," and I feel that it is really racist. The sign has three subjects on it...beans (on top), Mexican (in the middle), and salsa and dips (on bottom).

I brought this issue to the store's assistant manager because the store manager was gone, and she acted like it was nothing big.

I think that if they meant "Mexican salsa and dips" it would be fine, but there was not a dash after the word "Mexican."

I went to Safeway afterwards to compare how Safeway refers to Mexican supplies. They had a sign that said "Hispanic foods." I think that should be the proper way to name the aisle, not only as "Mexican."
