Isabel (Chevela) Garcia, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009.

She is survived by three sisters, Guadalupe Gallegos of Phoenix, Ariz., Refugia Noyola and Hortencia (Jesus) Guzman, all of Sunnyside; one brother, Felipe Perales Jr.; and a special niece, Cynthia Fernandez that took care of her and stood by her till the very end. Cynthia's children, whom she adored and also helped care for her, Israel Fernandez, J.J. Solis, Jayla Solis and her special princessa, Jayleen Solis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Rodolfo Perales and Gustavo Perales; three sisters, Olivia Muniz, Lucilla Guerrero and Josefa Tirado; and her husband, Carlos Garcia.
