It's never too early to start planning for the annual Sunnyside Show & Shine.
This year's car show at Sunnyside High School's Clem Senn Field will again be held to raise money for the annual senior class graduation party. Entry fees are set at $10 per vehicle, $5 for students who have school ID. Gate admission on the day of the show will be $2 for adults and $1 for students. Children under the age of five will be admitted free of charge.
This year's festivities will take place on Saturday, March 7. Registration will begin at 10 a.m., with the gates swinging open to the general public an hour later. Judging of the vehicles will start at 1 p.m., with an awards ceremony slated for 3 p.m. The Sunnyside High School fusion tech students will be crafting this year's trophies.
If tradition is any indication, this year's Show & Shine will again feature a variety of vintage automobiles, motorcycles and show bikes. Also planned for the day is live music, concession sales and a 50/50 raffle.
