Orville H. Krussow Sr., 97, of Grandview died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at Hillcrest Manor in Sunnyside.

He was born Sept. 4, 1911 in Dassel, Minn. to Henry and Emma (Koester) Krussow. He worked as the service manager for Horner's Pontiac.

He is survived by his son, Orville Krussow Jr. of Bellingham; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Norman Krussow of Ramona.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Klara Krussow; second wife, Ella Krussow; two brothers, Elmer and Harlow Krussow; and one stepson, AlRoy Wendt.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Jan. 30, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Grandview.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
