Luella Josephine (Wetrosky) Jahn, 89, of Inchelium passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009.
She was born April 6, 1920 at their home near Kingsley, Iowa to Joseph and Mary (Munsch).
She graduated from Sioux City, Iowa in 1939.
She married Carl Albert Jahn on Jan. 14, 1940 in Kingsley.
In December of 1958 Luella and Carl took their children along with her brother, John and headed across the country from Aurelia, Iowa to Sunnyside.
Luella and Carl lived there until their children graduated from high school.
They retired and moved to Moses Lake and then later moved near Inchelium.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; daughter Janet Schreiber (Richard) of Moses Lake; daughter Betty Conant of Chelan; son Carl J. Jahn of Sunnyside; and daughter Bonnie Mares (Lionel) of Mabton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister Loretta Porsch of Sioux City; her Goddaughter, Kay Wimmer of Kingsley; and many nieces and nephews around the country.
Danekas Funeral Chapel in Colville is in charge of arrangements.
