Ruby Zulma Castilleja Smith, 29, of Portland, Ore. went to be with her Lord Jesus on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, due to a tragic accident but, was recovered on Thursday, June 4, 2009.

She was born Oct. 10, 1979 and raised in Sunnyside, but lived her last years in Portland, where she loved very much.

She was a beautiful person and a quiet soul, who loved her husband and her children very much.

She enjoyed singing, listening to music and always dreamed big.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Smith; her loving children, Evelyn, Quintessa, Anissa and Morise, all of Portland; her parents, Fortunato and Guillermina Castilleja of Sunnyside; and her brothers, Antonio (Melanie) Castilleja and Alberto Castilleja, all of Sunnyside, Nato Jr. Castilleja of Yakima and Bernardo Ruiz of Jalisco, Mexico; and two sisters, Maria (John) Vasquez of Wapato and Debbie (Tony) Ramos of Lacey; several nieces and nephews, that she loved very much in addition cousins, aunts, uncles and grandmothers, Maria Gonzalez and Antonia Castilleja.

A formal funeral service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Zeller Chapel of the Roses, 2107 NE Broadway, Portland, Ore.

Zellar Chapel of the Roses in Portland is in charge of arrangements.
