Maria Guadalupe De Leon, 63, of Mabton passed away Friday, March 20, 2009 at her home.

She was born Feb. 5, 1946 in Irapuato Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of Narciso Juarez and Juana Arrellano Juarez.

She married Francisco De Leon Sr.

She was a homemaker.

She enjoyed being around her family, outside tending to her flowers, and going to Columbia Park.

She is survived by her husband, Francisco De Leon Sr. of Mabton; one daughter, Maria A. De Leon of Sunnyside; two sons, Francisco De Leon Jr of Pasco and Juan De Leon of Mabton; one grandson, DeMundo De Leon of Sunnyside; one brother, Miguel Juarez of Mabton; four sisters, Theresa Mendoza and Hermelinda Juarez, both of Mabton, Luisa Juarez of Portland, Ore. and Gracie Juarez of Seattle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Petra Mendoza and Rosie Juarez.

At Mrs. De Leon's request there will be no services.

Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah is in charge of arrangements.
