Public's help sought in superintendent search

MABTON - The Mabton School Board is calling on the community to express their desires when it comes to hiring a new school district superintendent.

"They want input into what type of background (the community) prefers," said Josh Barbosa, who works for the Mabton School District. "The board wants to know what our district needs."

The Mabton School Board has hired a consultant to help with the search, who will be at the Thursday, Oct. 22, public meeting at Artz-Fox Elementary School at 7 p.m.

Barbosa said community members and parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
