Parade help appreciated

I want to thank all of the participants in the fourth annual Miss Sunnyside Torchlight Float Unveiling Parade held last Friday...Grand Marshals Mark and Sara Cook from Morris Floral & Gifts; Miss Cinco De Mayo Marisol Velazquez and Princesses Maritza Licea, Alexus Alvarez and Tatiana Hernandez; the Panda Bear Royalty Court (Queen Yoanna Torres, and Princesses Naila Rodriguez and Tania Alvarez); Yakima Valley Dairy Ambassador Kristen Wedam and Alternate Emily Hutchins; Cinderella Baby Audrina Campos; SHS Cheerleaders and advisor Kayla Monroe; Mr. SHS James Sanchez, and Girls 180 students and advisor Linda Hall.

A special thank you to Joey Glossen, Chico Rodriguez and the Sunnyside Police Department and officers for helping us that evening.

Thank you to Mike Gonzalez at Tom Denchel Ford and Eric Espindola and his dad Santiago Espindola for providing convertibles for us. Thank you to all of the drivers for all entries! Thank you to Pam Turner at the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce for "everything." Thank you to Jay Hester and the Port of Sunnyside and the Sunnyside City Council for your support.

A huge thank you to the Miss Sunnyside Court (Joy, Toni, Blanca, Jaylyn) and their parents and families (Tim & Anne, Tony & Carolyn, Jose & Bertha, Lucy, Cynthia, and Andrew) for the gorgeous float...he Diamond Queen.

A tremendous thank you to all of the Sunnyside community members that stepped in, and helped push our float! Thank you so much.
