Landlords invited to attend groundbreaking meeting May 4

Under consideration in Sunnyside is a new city-wide ordinance that would put some of the burden of renting out homes to criminals on the shoulders of landlords.

City council members, police department staff and other interested parties are proposing a crime free rental housing ordinance.

Input from local landlords is being sought at a special public meeting being sponsored by the Sunnyside Police Department. The Tuesday, May 4, gathering will be held at the Sunnyside Law & Justice Center, starting at 7 p.m.
