GRANDVIEW - A recent review of the city of Grandivew's books was given a thumbs up by state auditors.
The areas examined in the accountability audit included contracts, bidding, payroll/personnel, expenditures and police citations.
In all of the areas reviewed, the state auditors found Grandview had internal controls that were adequate to "safeguard public assets."
The city was also found to have "complied with state laws and regulations and its own policies and procedures" in the areas examined.
It marked the sixth consecutive audit in which state auditors did not report any findings against the city of Grandview.
