Earlier this week I had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy a fabulous lunch at Sunnyside's newest restaurant, Zingis Mongolian BBQ, located at 2810 East Lincoln Avenue in Sunnyside.
I am tickled pink this restaurant has come to town. The last time I had the opportunity to eat at such a restaurant was nearly 13 years ago and that was in Portland.
I think it's fabulous the owners of this restaurant decided to offer this style of dining out, as well as the scrumptious food they offer to those living in the Lower Valley.
I had forgotten the best way to mound the bowl of my choosing with the fresh veggies, noodles and meat. So I, perhaps, didn't get as much food as I could have. But, that was my fault.
The sauces are fresh-made and it is a true joy to watch the chefs at work on the Mongolian grill.
The service is friendly and the owners seem especially pleased to have the opportunity to serve those living in and working in the community.
It is a real treat to sit down and eat a meal that is prepared just how I want it.
Sunnyside has other fine restaurants with excellent food. I think this restaurant just adds to the quality of eateries already established in the community.
What makes Zingis Mongolian BBQ different is that it's an excellent choice for someone who wants fresh, healthy food cooked specifically to the customer's preferences. What I especially like is the fact that I can have my food prepared as spicy as I would like.
On the day I ventured in I wasn't in the mood for something overly spicy, so I asked for the food to be prepared "medium." My veggies were cooked to perfection with just a little crunch. My noodles and meat were coated with just enough sauce to satisfy the palate.
All I can say is...it's all good.
