Former Boeing engineer to talk at Christian club meeting in mid-January

PROSSER - "Problem solving in an engineer's world" is the title of the speech that will be delivered by former Boeing engineer Martin Veeneberg at next month's meeting of the Lower Valley Christian Women's Connection.

The Tuesday, Jan. 11, luncheon meeting will be held at Prosser's Barn Restaurant, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations by local women who plan to attend should be phoned in ahead of time to either 894-4610 or 882-2365. Unlike the regular monthly meetings, club members are encouraged to "bring their favorite fellow" to the January get-together in Prosser.

Veeneberg, who's an outdoor enthusiast besides being a former engineer for the Boeing company, will detail for those in attendance the life-changing discovery he made while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

A special feature at the Jan. 11 Christian club meeting will be a reading of the poetry of Robert Service, to be recited by forestry engineer and cable logging specialist Brian Tudor.
