Beulah Margaret Voss, 95, of Deer Park and formerly of Outlook passed away on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at her home in Alpine Adult Estates.

She was born Dec. 7, 1914 in Roberts, Idaho to Lawrence and Sylvia McDermott.

She had 11 brothers and sisters.

She met her future husband, Bernard Voss in the Yakima Valley. She and Bernard were married on July 18, 1938 in Caldwell, Idaho. They raised six children in Yakima and Outlook.

She is survived by Barbara Baumiester of Moxee, Ronald (Donna) Voss of Deer Park, Nancy Long-Voss and Pete Ross of Thompson Falls, Mont., Jerome (Katherine) Voss of White Fish, Mont. and Margaret (Pat) Mohrman of Chilicothe, Ill.; two sisters, Velma Derrick of Canada and Verla (Bill) Baxter of Kennewick; a brother, Bud (Charlotte) McDermott of Hermiston, Ore.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers and sisters; her husband, Bernard Voss; one son, Lawrence Voss; one grandson, Daniel Miles; and one son-in-law, Norman Baumiester.

Viewing will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside, with burial to follow at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside.
