OBITUARY

MICHAEL EDWARD NAGLE

Michael Edward Nagle, 66, of Grandview passed away Wednesday Jan. 20, 2010 of a heart attack. He was born July 28, 1943 to Glenn and Lee (Opie) Nagle in Wenatchee.

He was raised and educated in Spokane, graduating from Mount Angel Seminary Class of 1961. Following high school, Mike attended Washington State University receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and graduated in 1965. On June 29, 1968 Mike married Judith Donahoo in Grandview. He worked in Prosser at the Washington State University Research Center until his retirement 27 years later. Mike enjoyed spending time fishing with his kids, dry land farming, camping and otherwise spending time with his family. He was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church and Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Nagle of Grandview; son Thomas Nagle and wife Christina of Florida and daughter Jennifer Santjer and husband Jacob of Everett; four grandchildren, Kylie, Taylor and Cody Nagle and Tucker Santjer. He is also survived by his mother Lee Nagle of Yakima and five siblings. He is preceded in death by his father Glenn Nagle, granddaughter Breanna Nagle and son Timothy Nagle.

Viewing with be held Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 from noon to 5 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Sunnyside. A Rosary will be held Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Grandview. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at 11 a.m. also at Blessed Sacrament Church. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to Children's Hospital or Knights of Columbus. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.valleyhillsfh.com
