Philip Marlin Greenhalgh, 65, of Yakima and a former Grandview resident died on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at Yakima Memorial Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dix Cliffton and Rachel (Thomas) Greenhalgh.

He graduated from Grandview High School in 1962. He enlisted in the U.S. Airforce in 1963.

He is survived by three children, Ryan Greenhalgh of Kennewick, Dayna Greenhalgh of Pasco and Charlie Greenhalgh of Prosser; six grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Greenhalgh of Bakersfield, Calif. and Frank Greenhalgh of Wales, England.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Charlie.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home in Grandview.

Smith Funeral Home in Grandview is in charge of arrangements.
