Rex T. Kabrich, 83, passed away on Feb. 26, 2010, in Yakima.

He was born Aug. 30, 1926 in Yakima to Bill and Helen Kabrich.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1946.

He married E. Jane Reddig.

He started selling for Burrows Tractor in 1948. In 1951 he started Lower Valley Tractor in Sunnyside and returned to Yakima in 1963 to own and manage Burrows Tractor.

He retired in 1998.

He enjoyed golfing at the Yakima Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and a brother, Hugh Kabrich.

He is survived by three sons, Bill (Robin) Kabrich, John (Renee) Kabrich and Luke Kabrich, all of Yakima; a sister-in-law, Doris Kabrich of Yakima; a niece, Mary Kabrich of Seattle; three nephews, Bob (Karen) Kabrich of Phoenix, Ariz., Jim (Erica) Kabrich and Dave (Nadia) Kabrich, all of Yakima; and five grandchildren, Wade (Misty) Kabrich of Tieton, Christine (Bob) Wallace of University Place, Max Kabrich of Seattle, Madison Kabrich of Tampa Bay, Fla. and Mercedes Kabrich of Iowa City, Iowa.

A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Yakima Country Club.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Memorial Hospice, AG Forestry Foundation or PNW University of Health Sciences.
