The Lady Greyhounds prevailed 25-17, 24-26, 25-8, 23-25, 15-8.
"We were ready to put the match away in the second and fourth games, but Ellensburg came back," Grandview Coach John LaFever said, noting the Bulldogs had a height advantage.
Kaitee Eucker helped clinch the victory for Grandview with a string of service points in the fifth and deciding game. "They had an early lead, but we caught up and were able to have a good rotation," La Fever said.
That set the stage for a District title match with Selah, which handed Grandview its only league loss earlier in the season.
The Vikings took control and defeated Grandview 25-13, 25-11, 25-20 to grab the CWAC District title. Grandview claimed second place.

Grandview will play two matches at Regionals, with the first one being at 3 p.m. Saturday against Prosser or West Valley of Spokane.
A win in the opening round match at Regionals would assure Grandview no worse than a second-seed at State.
