Dewayne Charles Schademan, 76, of Sunnyside a loving husband and father, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010, at home with family.

He was born June 23, 1934 in Pender, Neb. to Charles and Augusta Schademan.

He later attended Toppenish schools and worked with Schademan Construction Co.

Dewayne saw action and served abroad as an Airman First Class throughout the Korean conflict.

On June 23, 1957 he married Margaret Rinehart and settled in Sunnyside. They had three children.

Dewayne installed generators on Wanapum and Priest Rapids dams with English Electric. He retired after 28 years with Twin City Foods in Prosser.

Dad was an avid Northwest sports fisherman and football fan.

To Dewayne family was everything. He loved his family and grandchildren to the greatest extent.

Dewayne is now with his wife Margaret whom he loved so dearly, they are dancing together once again.

Dewayne is survived by Nick and Linda Schademan of Sunnyside; granddaughter, Maxine; Stacy and Gary Johnson; three grandchildren, Jason, Tavia and Derek Gonce of Everett; Danny and Beth Schademan; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Jennifer, Nicki; one great- granddaughter, Summer of Pilot Rock Ore.; his sisters, Caroline Lamb, Wilma Sainsbury, Donave Morrow, Bernice Barrett, Reann Willett, Geraldine Bond and Shirely Vandusen; and one brother, Carl Schademan of Ellensburg.

Dewayne was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Augusta; his wife, Margaret; and brothers, Willard, Vernon, Loren and Gary Schademan.

Viewing will be held Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Valley Hills Funeral Home in Zillah. Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 5, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Zillah City Cemetery.
