Sue M. Carow, 82, of Sunnyside passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 at her home in Sunnyside.

She was born Sept. 15, 1928 to Robert Lee and Lilly Mae (Green) Keele in Ralls, Texas. At an early age her parents passed away and Sue was raised by extended family members. At the age of 16 she met and married the love of her life, Norman Carow, on Dec. 16, 1944 in Waco, Texas. Norman and Sue made their home in Washington state and following Norman's retirement they moved to Mossyrock to enjoy fishing and traveling in their motor home.

Sue enjoyed crafts, making night lights, jewelry, quilting and sewing. She was an amazing cook and will also be remembered for her fabulous chicken and dumplings. Sue cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Carow of Prosser; her son, Kenneth Carow of Yakima: one grandson, James Madson of Prosser; one granddaughter, Lisa Madson of Prosser; two great granddaughters, Destiney and Ivy and one great grandson, Tristan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norman, her son, Bill and four sisters. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at 12 noon at Smith Funeral Home, Grandview. Burial will follow at the East Prosser Cemetery, Prosser. Those wishing to honor her memory may contribute to the American Heart Association.
