GRANDVIEW - Seven shots rang out in a Grandview neighborhood yesterday, Tuesday, as someone traveling in a black Escalade opened fire.
The shooting took place in the area of North Birch and Bonnieview, where a witness reported gunfire coming from the black Escalade.
"It is not believed the shots were directed at anyone or anything and there were no injuries or damage of any kind," Assistant Police Chief Mark Ware said. "We did recover a couple of small caliber pistol casings from the roadway."
Police were unable to locate the Escalade and are still trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
In other activity since yesterday, Grandview police were also alerted that two cars were racing in the area of West King Street.
Police also learned that graffiti was sprayed in the 500 block of Woodall Road.
