Second drive-by shooting in as many nights in Grandview

GRANDVIEW - For the second consecutive day gunfire erupted in a Grandview neighborhood last night, Wednesday.

Like the one reported on Tuesday, yesterday's gunfire was a drive-by shooting in which no one was injured.

Witnesses say three occupants in a gray Plymouth Neon opened fire with a medium-caliber semi-automatic pistol while driving through the 1100 block of Apache Drive.

Police recovered five bullet casings from the scene, and say last night's shooting was gang-related and targeted at a specific house.

Detectives are investigating the shooting.

In other criminal action reported in Grandview yesterday, someone threw eggs and ketchup at a home in the 700 block of Washington Street.

Another Grandview resident in the 2000 block of West Fifth Street reported that $60 was stolen.
