Clyde Richard Stice, Jr., passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at his home in Sequim.

Clyde was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1930 to Clyde and Zelma Stice.

He was a generous, caring person that enjoyed helping people and taking pictures of animals and scenery.

Clyde served in the U.S. Air Force for four years.

He then became a truck driver out of Utah. After he left Utah, he came to Outlook and had a farm, which he worked on until 1995, then moved to Sequim.

He is survived by his siblings, Bob Stice of Texas, Don Stice of Colorado, Florence Stice of Idaho, Dixie Stice and Genevieve (Stice) Stevenson of Arizona; his sons, Kenneth Stice and Roger and Terry Merck, all of Washington and James Stice of California; and many grandchildren.

Clyde spent his last days with loving, dedicated friends at his side.

Drennan and Ford Funeral Home in Port Angeles is in charge of arrangements.
